THE PROBLEM.
The inability to consistently and affordably produce high-quality advanced therapies limits their global reach. At the bench, generating enough mammalian cells remains the primary constraint, from 3D cell assays to translational research and early-stage bioproduction. The root cause is consistent: poor oxygen delivery and harsh microenvironments in conventional culture systems prevent cells from reaching natural tissue-level densities and quality.
OUR SOLUTION.
XDemics is developing the High-Density Cell Respiration (HDCR™) platform to overcome the oxygen delivery and shear stress limitations of conventional cell culture systems, enabling direct control of pericellular oxygen at any setpoint and achieving 10-100X higher cell densities with improved functional activity and quality. Our Expansify™ respiring cultureware and Profusion™ bioreactor products (under development) utilize HDCR™ to support workflows from early discovery to commercial production. By eliminating oxygen transfer limitations and shear stress as core constraints, XDemics enables predictable, linear scaleup from 96-well plates to large bioreactors. This allows researchers and GMP facilities to produce higher quality and more potent T cell, stem cell, and viral-based therapies, with greater consistency at lower cost.
AVAILABILITY.
The Expansify™ 24-well plates and 1-well plates are currently available for purchase through our website and our North American distributor, VWR, in 1-packs and 10-packs. For research use only. The Gigacell™ device for production of GMP grade therapeutics, will be available later this year.

XDemics holds an exclusive license to a broad IP portfolio from Caltech and City of Hope, complemented by significant IP generated in-house, protecting its next-generation cell culture and biomanufacturing technologies.
